USER CONTROLS
There are currently three types of controller available for operating the HEATwear system. These allow the user to turn the HEATwear panels on/off and also adjust the heat level to the desired setting.
Battery Control Switch
This is an LED control switch that is integrated in casing of the battery pack. The control switch allows the user to turn the HEATwear system on/off and also to adjust the heat level to the desired setting. The LED light indicates the status of the HEATwear system and flashes to show the selected heat level.
LED Extension Switch
The LED control switch is supplied on a textile/PU extension cable allowing the control switch to be sewn or bonded to the garment in a position easily accessible to the user, for example on the chest or sleeve. The textile cable terminates in a DC jack plug that connects to the battery pack. The textile cable can be supplied in different lengths to suit a range of finished products.
Digital Display Controller
This silicone control module combines a joystick switch and an LED readout to operate the HEATwear system. The LED display can show the heat panel temperature or heat level setting. This control module can be sewn or bonded to garments and is supplied on a textile/PU cable with a DC jack plug connection to the battery pack. The textile cable can be supplied in different lengths to suit a range of finished products.
