O'Neill Release H3 Wearables Range

O'Neill Europe has launched their latest collection of wearable electronic products for retail sale this Fall/Winter season. The H3 series of snowboarding garments and accessories use a range of fabric integrated technologies from Fibretronic enabling O'Neill to create some ground breaking products.

O'Neill H3 Fat Controller Glove

The H3 Fat Controller glove uses Fibretonic's wireless iPod control system, featuring a joystick controller stitched into the glove on the back of the hand. The joystick commands are sent wirelessly to the iPod which can then be housed safely in a jacket or backpack pocket. Fibretronic's wireless iPod controller is the only technology available in the world for integration into gloves.

O'Neill H3 Ent Jacket
The H3 Ent Jacket uses the Fibretronic 'Fiddler' joystick iPod controller integrated into the sleeve of the high performance snowboarding jacket. Fibretronic developed a unique weldable solution enabling the joystick system to be seamlessly integrated into the sleeve without any stitching, yet retaining a water resistance of 10,000mm. Customised artwork can be printed around the joystick nipple on the outer surface fabric of the jacket to give a highly visual impact. O'Neill Europe's H3 Ent Jacket is available this Fall in men's and women's styles.

O'Neill H3 CamPack

The H3 CamPack uses the Fibretronic 'Fiddler' joystick iPod controller integrated into the strap of the backpack. The other backpack strap contains a custom designed user interface developed by Fibretronic for the operation of a remote video camera. This easy access button integrated into the strap allows the video camera recording function to be switched on and off. The button is combined with a dual LED indicator which shows the user the status of the recording function.
